Last night was the opening of "Gladrags & Handbags 2013" an event organised by Grazia where "every last penny made will go to helping out some of London’s most vulnerable children over the Christmas period. With the money raised from the event, London-based charity Kids Company will give 3,500 under-privileged children a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, presents, games and even a Santa’s grotto. " I had no idea what to expect but we were invited as we donated some of our Nixie Clothing stock.
I arrived at the Loading Bay Gallery and the place was packed with people going through rails upon rails of designer clothing, bags , shoes make up etc….
grabbing those super bargains generously donated .
I found a pair of lilac Doc Martens for my daughter and picked them up for £20
To overwhelmed to even start looking for myself I cued for a long time meeting a lovely american lady with her arms laden of goodies, totally surprised I was just holding a pair of shoes.
