Looking through images of old Collections and seeing how much my girls have grown up gives me a sense of utter satisfaction. I still love the design as I feel they are timeless not stuck in some period or fashion trend....hope you agree XXX

Ocean - Nixie Clothing Spring/Summer 2014
This season we present a selection of twelve new designs, drawing inspiration from the diversity of oceanic life.
Modern, sustainable, designed-and-made in Britain, the Collection highlights juxtaposed fabric choices and unique details...soft jerseys in bright NEONS , subtle PINKS ,MUSTARD with OCEAN BLUE...flowing flower-printed chiffons... and vintage silks offset against grey notes.
Diving into a magical world beneath the surface, the designs reflect form and movement
– like the jellyfish 'bell' shape for our Jelly Poncho
– or the fins of a (Siamese) Betta Fish moving like angel wings in the current, for our Betta Dress…
In all we do, we try to remember that our oceans, and indeed the lives of any rare species, are becoming increasingly threatened.
(P.S. though the Jellyfish has no heart ,no bones, no brain...it has been around for 650 million years!)

Wet
Looking at the temperature right now here in London,it is 8 degrees on the 24th of May and so far it has not stopped raining. So I went and found some beauty and I feel much better now as water is quite magical.

Beth Hoeckel we Love
Beth Hoeckel is a multidisciplinary artist from Baltimore USA. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she focused primarily on painting, photography, and printmaking. A whirlwind decade was subsequently spent abroad including two years living in New York City followed by four years in Los Angeles. Beth is currently a full-time artist creating mixed media paintings and collages in Baltimore city.

David Bowie @ V&A
So yesterday I finally visited the Bowie exhibition, which I was eagerly anticipating.
After digesting the experience the overall taste left behind was not so sweet.
As a long time Bowie follower most of the images and displays I had seen before.The clothes ,( which should have been my goose bump moment) didn't do it either as most of them were replicas and scattered into different sections of the exhibition loosing the feel of the impact.
The idolisation and overload of one persons achievements in life were overwhelming in the displays, not to forget that he is very fortunate human being able to follow what he loves. There is so many talented people in this world but unfortunately not with the same possibilities and fortunate omens. A tissue of DB with smeared lipstick put in a glass box added to the uneasiness I started to feel about the whole thing.
The amount of money put into this exhibition all the great things it could have been used for helping others…..I wonder what Mr.Bowie thought when he wondered around yes he is great but let's keep it real….amen
